Reviews

5-Star Rating Peaceful get-away
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. We would highly recommend it for anybody looking to have a peaceful get-away from the normal everyday rush of life. The wooden interior gives a warm welcome, as well as the fireplace. The owners are absolutely lovely people who have put so much love and thought into this cabin. The windows bring in bright natural lighting. Tucked away among the trees, this cabin is a gem.

Relax in Your Off-Grid Home Away-from-Home

By accommodating for a variety of sensitivities, this back-to-basics home allows people to step away from the influences of the city and relax and experience for themselves whether their home environment may be affecting them in negative ways.

Here are some of the ways that this cabin is different than a typical home, bed-and-breakfast, or short-term rental:

A path through the woods leads to steps to a cabin door
Large window lights L-shaped kitchen with double sink. Smooth white tile countertop with solid wood cabinents below and solid wood shelves above.
Sunshine from several windows lights the open concept living space
Inside cabin at dusk, a queen-size bed is lit by a warm woodstove, and an orange electric lantern

Owner's story:

Eight years ago, while living in a high-rise condo, I was struggling with debilitating health issues. Eventually my wife and I started to realize that my symptoms seemed to be tied to my exposure to wireless and electro-magnetic signals. To test the theory I went to stay in a low-signal location and my symptoms quickly started to disappear, only to re-appear when I went back to the condo! A family doctor suggested I move and see a naturopath, so we did. We stayed at rural short-term rental houses, and eventually bought our own home in the country. We have this cabin on the same property to help other people who are struggling with similar issues.
